Our mission is to entertain, educate, and inspire you to Grow Your Giggle™ with Vivi LeDish™!
Our site offers FREE, fun, interactive tools designed to give children a daily, digestible dose of wellness education. We want kids to make a quick stop every day and get back out and play!™
Vivi LeDish™ provides parents, caregivers, and teachers with a simple, yet comprehensive approach designed to:
- Educate and entertain kids about nutrition and exercise
- Introduce children ages 3-8 to new foods in a way the whole family can enjoy
- Reward children for healthy choices
- Make growing up more fun---for kids and their parents
Key features of our program include:
Giggle Grower™
Tool that allows kids to log daily consumption of fruit, vegetables, calcium, protein, grains, sky juice (water), and reminds kids not to grow a day without a giggle (to feed our funny bone, of course!).
Fridays with Vivi™
The idea behind Fridays with Vivi™ is to create a simple, fun, family ritual that is educational and encourages kids to try new foods (it’s also a great alternative to going out to eat).
A weekly e-newsletter announces the Food of the Week along with a child-friendly recipe and coloring page featuring the ingredient. Subscribers receive a link to a downloadable certificate to personalize to celebrate and reward the child(ren) for trying the featured food.
Food of the Week
A food will be featured each week to educate and encourage kids to try new foods. One fact about the food will be revealed each day of week.
Users have the option to sign-up for an account designed to motivate and reward them to for trying the featured food each week. Accounts are designed to accommodate families with multiple children and allow parents to view their children’s activities.
Recipe of the Day (Daily LeDish™)
Daily child-friendly recipe featuring five ingredients or less, requires little to no cooking, and teaches kids moderation by distinguishing between “sometimes” foods and “everyday” foods. Each recipe has a whimsical title designed to make a child feel like a true culinary connoisseur.
Recipes are presented in a unique format intended to make shopping and preparation as painless as possible!
Timer
A timer periodically reminds kids to go do something active, a feature that can also serve as a timekeeper for families with more children than computers!
